The room was very spacious and comfortable. There were beams running through and the room was tastefully decorated. It was a very warm weekend so the addition of fans a great touch. There was a complimentary croissant and porridge for breakfast and the bathroom was beautiful. The bathroom tap was a bit lose and the bed a bit creaky but it just added to the character of the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for Fairport’s Annual festival in Cropredy. The location is perfect for either walking down the canal path to Cropredy, or catching the festival bus. Room was comfortable, clean, perfect. Such a friendly place to stay. I won't hesitate in staying here again.

Lovely old pub in short walking distance to the town centre. Beautifully decorated room and bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and porridge. Very quiet.

Excellent find. Perfect location. Easy to find with ample parking. Plenty of eateries within walking distance. Complementary breakfast was an added bonus. Good value for money. We stayed 4 nights as we were going to Silverstone for the Grand Prix.

Perfect location as the event we were at was there. Really nice welcome. Comfy and generally clean. Parking at the back. Good central Banbury spot. Nice beer! Room Now under the thatch was real cool.

Great location in centre of Banbury. Good car parking. Great welcome. Excellent bedroom. A very friendly bar. Close to a wide variety of restaurants. While no on-site breakfast the bonus of a pain au chocolat and porridge provided in the bedroom. Overall a great stay - will certainly visit again.

The property itself is beautifully presented and has been tastefully designed and decorated. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean: The outside space was lovely and welcoming.
